Splitgate: Arena Warfare (Splitgate or SAW) is a first person Sci-Fi Shooter competitive game where players uses player-controlled portals to create a new dimension of arena combat. It's developed by 1047 Games released on May 24th, 2019 as a Free To Play title, for Microsoft Windows (Steam).

Summary[edit | edit source]

Developed by Halo 3 veterans, Splitgate: Arena Warfare brings back that old school arena FPS feel with no classes and no perks. You have to rewire your brain to frag with Portals. Use portals to outsmart and outplay your opponents by flanking them from behind, use momentum to fly through the air to new locations or quickly flee from a dangerous position. Splitgate uses standard FPS controls and intuitive portal mechanics, that means beginners are up and running right off the bat. However, players must constantly evolve strategies and their ability to think with portals in order to outsmart one another. The skill cap is unlimited.
